A Letter to Rachel
Dear Baby Bear,
I love when you go to sleep. For a little while, my world is quiet. It would be nice if you stopped yelling at me. Really, what is there to yell about? You get to play all day, eat pretty much what you want to eat and sleep without a care in the world. You're not even old enough for "Mean Girls" to exist in school yet.
I know you are "asserting your independence" but you have your entire lifetime to try to separate from Daddy and me. You don't have to do it all in a year.
Please, let's have fun together. Be my girl again.
Love,
your desperate and exhausted
Mommy

Eli Talking
Time for baby bro to get some face time!
Eli hit 3 months this week (can't believe it) and he is a talker! Check out the leg pumps.

Playing Doctor
Rachel had such a good time at her 3 year check up that she's playing doctor all the time. Luckily, Eli doesn't mind being her patient. . . for now.

Ring Around the Rosie
Rachel's favorite game. Mommy can't play because I get dizzy and nauseated, but Derby is always happy to! Poor Derb. . .

Shopping
Many of you have seen the short shopping clip. Back by popular demand, here is Rachel shopping (and getting into trouble). . .again.
Some translation:
"Daddy, what are you doing?"
"Where did purse go"
"I wanna have it"
"Mom. . . Mommy. . . where are you?" - this one I heard all the way from the check out line.
We may be retiring the shopping cart for a little while. It's all about containment these days. . .
